There are many ways to volunteer as part of the Love Where You Live Campaign, and we would love to have you on-board! There are no set time commitments, just help out when you can.

Throughout Cardiff, there are community groups that go out regularly to clean up litter. Along with our partners Keep Wales Tidy, we help by loaning equipment and providing support. You can also become a Love Where You Live Champion and borrow equipment from your local hubs. This is currently up and running in Grangetown Hub and will shortly be launching in Cathays Library and Llandaff North and Gabalfa Hub. We hope to keep rolling it out across Cardiff throughout 2018.

We also have street planters available to local residents who would like to improve the look of their local street. We have a helpful toolkit available for anyone that would like more information about how to get one. Alternatively, if there is already one near you and you would like to find out how you can help to keep it growing, please get in touch.

By volunteering with the Love Where You Live campaign you have a chance to make a huge difference to your local street or community, as well as getting out and about and getting to know your neighbours.

If you would like to get involved, either with an existing group, setting up a group, becoming a champion or getting involved with the street planters, please contact the team at lovewhereyoulive@cardiff.gov.uk or call 029 2071 7717.

Alternatively get in touch with one of the community groups below!
