Do you want to help stop plastic pollution in our environment, save money and stay hydrated?
You can do this thanks to our campaign, Refill Cardiff.
We have installed a number of refill stations in Cardiff city centre. Find them at:
- Cardiff Market, near the Trinity Street entrance,
- Bute Park at the Summerhouse Café, and
- Bute Park, near the changing rooms.
The campaign:
- Has received funding from the Welsh Government Levelling Up Fund.
- Is run by Cardiff Council’s Love Where You Live and Waste teams in partnership with FOR Cardiff.

About Refill
Refill is a UK-wide campaign by not-for-profit organisation City to Sea. The organisation aims to prevent marine plastic pollution.
Refill Cardiff aims to increase the number of water refill points available to the public within the city. This is to help encourage a move away from single use plastic and towards re-use.
We aim to achieve this by:
- installing refill stations, and
- encouraging more businesses to get involved and introduce them.
In 2023, 57 businesses had signed up to the Refill scheme.
