Big Cardiff Tidy is back!
For two weeks this autumn, communities across the capital will come together once again for Big Cardiff Tidy 2026 – a big, friendly, volunteer effort where people across Cardiff team up to tidy their local areas and make a visible difference.
The event is led by Keep Wales Tidy, Love Where You Live and Cardiff Rivers Group.
Throughout the campaign, you can get involved in a range of litter-picking activity, including:
- Joining a pre-arranged litterpick (see event map on Keep Wales Tidy)
- Borrowing equipment from a Keep Wales Tidy Litterpicking Hub
- Going out as individuals, making use of the equipment available to you as a Litter Champion
- Or you could host your own litterpick with a group of friends, your place of work or family.
It’s a great opportunity to meet other likeminded volunteers and help make a difference.
We’re aiming to host events in every ward across Cardiff, bringing people together with a shared goal: a cleaner, greener city.
