Cardiff Recycles – A new way to recycle your electricals
Cardiff Council has launched its brand-new project, Cardiff Recycles. The project aims to significantly reduce e-waste and its environmental impact, by making it easier for people to recycle their electricals.
Cardiff Recycles has installed 20 pink recycling banks for small electricals. You can find these at easily accessible locations, including local Hubs and community centres across the city.
The project is funded by Material Focus, the not-for-profit organisation, whose goal is to stop the nation throwing away or hoarding their old and small electricals.
We have also partnered with Wastesavers to provide electrical testing and safety checks (PAT testing) for items that can be reused. These items will be for sale at affordable prices at the Wastesavers re-use shop in Lamby Way.
